You can change the color of the time remaining which can help individuals with visual deficits, in addition to being fun and customizable. You can also save timers to reuse them.

We used this application with children who are working on maintaining attention to a specific task, as well as with children who have difficulty transitioning to new activities, to provide them with a visual aid to see how much time was left in a given activity. We found this to be very helpful with many of our children. We love being able to save timers since we used this application with different children and we needed to set different time increments for different kids as well as for different activities that we wanted to be able to reuse.

Additional Comments

We discovered the timer will continue to run even if you leave the Time Timer application so you can use other applications while your timer is running. Also, if you want to prevent the iPad from going to sleep while your timer is running, just adjust the Auto Lock in the iPad settings.
